Learn tips for business growth and development from outstanding entrepreneur Amanda Wilbanks, founder and CEO of Southern Baked Pie Company.
From the time she was small, Amanda scurried around the kitchen at the feet of her mother, grandmothers and aunts. Today, she runs a company headquartered in Gainesville with three retail bakery locations – Gainesville, Alpharetta and Buckhead. Her savvy marketing techniques have led to online alliances with retail powerhouses such as Dean & Deluca, Garden & Gun Mercantile and Williams-Sonoma. Southern Baked has an online ecommerce and wholesale division, where pies are purchased and shipped across the U.S, and will soon have the capability to ship internationally. She is a frequent guest lecturer and a cookbook author. Her most recent – Southern Baked: Celebrate Life with Pie – divulges the buttery crust recipe that made her pies famous.
