The faces of hunger may surprise you. Come learn more as the Georgia Mountain Food Bank (GMFB) kicks off fall activities at Business After Hours on August 8. Hosted at GMFB, and sponsored by Liberty Utilities, the event introduces the Quinlan Visual Arts Center’s newest exhibit, “Still Hungry in America,” opening August 16 and exploring the faces of hunger over the past 50 years as captured by photographer Al Clayton and his daughter Jennie. Enjoy food, music and fun while networking with Chamber friends. GMFB addresses hunger, health and quality of life by serving those in need. An affiliate of Atlanta Community Food Bank, they provide a vital link between sources of food supplies and hardworking community-based partner agencies who help get the food into the hands of families and individuals in need. gamountainfoodbank.org
