Business After Hours on January 15
Gainesville, GA -01/07/03: Elachee Nature Science Center, BB&T and 2 Dog Cafe sponsor the next Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on Thursday, January 15 from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Elachee Nature Science Center.
The Business After Hours includes delicious food by 2 Dog Café and free admission to Elachee’s Giants of The Past: Dinosaurs and Ice Age Mammals exhibit featuring robotic dinosaurs and Ice Age mammals. The exhibit brings the creatures to life by giving each its own sound and movement with swaying heads, eyes that look right at you, and life-like roars that will astound visitors.
“The exhibit features nine, huge roaring robots that fill our exhibit hall,” said Elachee President and CEO Andrea Timpone. “Business After Hours attendees can take advantage of viewing the exhibit and will also receive a free pass to come back with a friend or family.”
Located in the 1,300-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve, Elachee Nature Science Center is one of the premier environmental education centers in Georgia serving 47,000 students from more than 35 school systems and an additional 21,000 visitors each year. Elachee is derived from the Cherokee language meaning “new green earth.”

Directions from Gainesville: Highway 365/I-985 south to Exit 16 – Oakwood. Turn right off the ramp. Take an immediate right onto Frontage Road. Go to end of road. Turn left onto Atlanta Highway. Pass the Chicopee Woods Golf Course on the right. Elachee Drive is the next street on the right.
