The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Annual Eggs & Issues Breakfast is Thursday, December 13 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center. Sponsored by Jackson EMC, the event will feature Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and Gainesville-Hall County’s legislative delegation for the Georgia House of Representatives and State Senate:

House District 25: Representative James Mills

House District 26: Representative Carl Rogers

House District 27: Representative Doug Collins

House District 31: Representative Tommy Benton

Dixie Truelove of Truelove Dairy, Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Government Division stated, “The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is pleased to continue to assist local business people in communicating their concerns and discussing issues with our legislative delegation.”

This event is open to the public. Cost is $14 for Greater Hall Chamber members (advanced reservations requested) and $20 for non-members and at the door. Price includes a full buffet breakfast.

“The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce always has 100% participation from the Hall County delegation at this event,” said Denise Deal, Chairman of the Greater Hall Chamber and Executive Director of VISION 2030. “I think the legislators are just as interested in hearing what the citizens of this community have to say as the attendees want to hear what the legislators have to say. The issues that have already been identified prior to the beginning of the legislative session (water, taxes and education) have a direct impact on our community, and we need to better understand the issues as well as have an understanding of the legislators’ positions on these important issues.”
