Annual Chamber Business Awards

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the Small Business of the Year and Family Business of the Year Awards.



The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding small business and Greater Hall Chamber member for 2005-2006. A Chamber member may nominate their own business or another member. Nomination deadline is Friday, April 14. Eligibility and judging criteria for the Small Business of the Year Award includes:

  • Nominee must have operated two years in Hall County
  • Must be a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce
  • Show growth in sales, income, number of employees
  • Innovative product or service and response to adversity
  • Contributions to civic and community involvement
  • Must employ 50 people or less

The Family Business of the Year Award recognizes a family-owned business for 2005-06. Any business nominated must be a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. Nominations must be received by Friday, April 14.



Eligibility and judging criteria for the Family Business of the Year Award includes:

  • 25 years or more in business in Hall County
  • Family owned
  • Contributions and involvement in the community
  • Member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce
  • Brief company description with history, owners, product/services, location
  • Brief information on why company is deserving of award
