9th Annual Upstairs Downtown Holiday Open House on the Square

The Chamber’s Holiday Business After Hours and Main Street Gainesville’s 9th Annual Upstairs Downtown Tour & Open House is Thursday, November 20 from 5:15 – 8:15 p.m. on the Historic Downtown Gainesville Square.
The tour begins on Bradford Street with registration and Stop #1 at the new Daily News Diner and at their neighbor, The Big City Café. Stop #2 will feature Brice Vorderbrug’s fabulous second floor loft. Stop # 3 combines the new second floor offices of ReMax Realty and the new restaurant, Elmo’s Italian Kitchen. Stop #4 is Downtown’s newest coffee shop, Inman Perk. Stop #5 will feature demonstrations and tastings by new owner and Cordon Blue chef, Noreen Pashjwani at Home Sweet Georgia. Alter Ego will blow you away with its “up-tempo” looks and sounds as Stop # 6. The final stop will feature the exciting new businesses as well as food and music at the Main Street Market. Delicious food along the tour will be provided by Daily News Diner; Big City Café; Elmo’s Italian Kitchen; Inman Perk; Home Sweet Georgia; Sweet Magnolia Café and Skogie’s at the Main Street Market. Two drink tickets will be a part of the tour program redeemable at Big City Café and the Main Street Market along with Scott’s on the Square and Luna’s. Registration for drawings for fabulous prizes will be available along the tour route.
Horse & Carriage rides will be available around the Square at no charge! Santa will make his first appearance along with Dickens’ costumed characters provided by 5th Row Center. Smores will be for sale on the Square provided by the Boy Scouts.
