24TH ANNUAL HACKERS HOLIDAY SET FOR SEPTEMBER 15
Greater Hall Chamber’s Tourney to be played on two Chateau Elan courses
Gainesville, GA/July 16, 2003: The Hacker’s Holiday Committee is planning the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s 24th Annual Golf Tournament – Monday, September 15th at two Chateau Elan courses – The Woodlands and Chateau Elan. Major tournament sponsors to date are Wachovia, Jackson EMC, Gainesville Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Fast Signs, BellSouth, CMA Agency, Cingular Wireless, Publix, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and Tipton Construction Company.
Golf Hole Sponsorships are available for $150 each, $250 for two. These sponsors will receive recognition and signage placed on a golf hole during the event.
Entry for the event is $145 for Chamber members and $185 for non-members. The tournament will be played a four person team, two best ball and begins with a shotgun start at 12:00 noon. Lunch is provided, and an awards reception follows the tournament in the clubhouse.
This year, the tournament is chaired by Dana Miller (volunteer) with committee members: Bill Lambers (Business Tax Consultants), Cindy Wilson, Ricky Pugh and Dey Palmer (BB&T), John Hemel (Publix), David Ball (The David Ball Co.), Fred Kelly, CPA, Jeff Voss (Appraisal Authority), Brian Willman (Wachovia).
“We are extremely excited about the tournament this year, and we are looking forward to a successful and fun day. Our committee is working hard on making this event the best ever,” said Tournament Chairman Dana Miller. “Several hole-in-one prizes include cars from Milton Martin Honda, Greene Ford, Hayes Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep and Outdoor Power Products will give away a golf car! The tournament fills fast, so those interested should sign up as soon as possible.”
