23rd Annual Hackers Holiday a success

A field of 120 turned out for the 23nd Annual Hackers Holiday Golf Tournament at the Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River in Dahlonega. Many thanks to tournament sponsors: BellSouth, CMA Agency, Cingular Wireless, Golden Park Business Center, H. Lloyd Hill Architects & Associates, Luna’s Restaurant, Publix, Regions Bank, Stewart, Melvin & Frost, LLP, Tipton Construction Company. Thanks to Pepsi for providing drinks. 60 local companies participated as golf hole sponsors, and Greene Ford provided a SUV as the Hole-in-One prize.



Tournament winners were recognized at a post-tournament reception: 1st Place Gross: Jimmy Wallace; Steve Hill, H. Lloyd Hill Architects; Kevin Brown, BKM; Lee Rogers, Jack Moore & Associates.



1st Place Net: Larry Bowman, Bowman Engineering; Pam Richards and Walton Young, Atlanta Journal-Constitution; Mark Rossignol, Bowman Engineering.



This year’s Hackers Holiday Golf Committee included Co-Chairmen Cooper Embry, SunTrust, and Dana Miller along with other committee members: Bill Lambers (Business Tax Consultants), Cindy Wilson (BB&T), Dick Valentine (Regions), Joyce Stephens (Regions), Reed Skinner (Regions), Rick Boyd (StitchTech), Ricky Pugh (BB&T).



Monies raised from the tournament will be used to furnish the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s new building that is now under construction.
