Georgia Retail

Gainesville, Georgia Retail Development

Gainesville-Hall County is an excellent location to serve the retail needs of the growing population of Hall County and the surrounding Northeast Georgia communities. Gainesville is already the regional center for financial and medical services, so serving as a Georgia retail hub as well makes sense. That is why Gainesville-Hall County Leadership dedicated a new economic initiative to increase retail activity. Our retail effort will serve to:

  • Enhance the quality of life for residents in the region.
  • Complement Gainesville-Hall County’s position as a tourism destination.
  • Diversify the commercial tax base and the economy.
  • Attract important sales tax dollars to support SPLOST initiatives for education & infrastructure.

The Gainesville-Hall County Economic Development Council and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce facilitate public-private partnerships between government and developers, and support Gainesville, GA retail development with timely and accurate information.
