care services that are among the best in northeast Georgia. Gainesville
has become a regional center for medical and health services delivery
because of the reputation and strength of the facilities housed here.

support individual care.
Northeast Georgia Health System
is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for the people of northeast Georgia. Led by volunteer boards made up of community leaders, the Health System serves over 20 counties. All revenue generated above operating income is returned to the community through improved services and new programs. No profits accrue to individual investors.
At the hub of Northeast Georgia Health System is Northeast Georgia Medical Center with a main campus at 743 Spring Street and another, Lanier Park campus, on White Sulphur Road .
Together, these facilities make up a 461-bed acute inpatient hospital service staffed by more than 400 physicians trained in a comprehensive range of medical specialties and a Cardiac Care Center staffed by renowned heart surgeons. Additionally, the Health System has long-term care skilled nursing facilities with 285 beds.

The Hall County Health Department offers health services to all of the county's residents and is staffed by trained nursing professionals who deliver a variety of preventive and curative health services to county residents.
